The resolution sponsored by the United States, China, Pakistan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and South Africa has failed. The resolution proposed regional safety commissions throughout the world. Along with that, an amendment proposed by Nigeria also failed to pass. A peaceful agreement on Nuclear Regulations will hopefully arise soon.
