Saudi Arabia states that they would like to see India back down from their threats. They also oppose economic sanctions on each country, and want to remind India that Saudi Arabia controls 75% of the oil sent to India, and wants to also remind the world of the 1970’s oil embargo. Saudi Arabia does not want this statement to seem as a threat, just a call for action among the different committees. Saudi Arabia is willing to do whatever it takes to settle the issue smoothly and swiftly as to prevent any future conflict.
